Pipers Vale Swimming Pool

These photograph's optimize the popularity of this well used pool. You can imagine a hot summer's day and you were lucky enough to live nearby this was the place to head for.I can vividly remember my walking through the Lairs on the way to the pool, the sun beating down it was really hot over the Lairs then! the hillside made the sun more intense and by the time I reached the pool I was really ready to get in that cold water. The lairs was alive and echoed to the sound of splashes and screams from the crowds I look at this photograph and I can hear them now.

It was a sad day when they bulldozed it down and robbed many people including the local schools of a well used amenity. Can you imagine what an asset this pool would be today?.
